Are you excited to start sewing clothes for yourself or others? How you begin a sewing project is just as important as the end-result. Learn the basics of interpreting pattern information and markings, body measurements and sizing, laying out a pattern and cutting, pressing, and a few sewing tips. This class should give you the confidence to get started. This is a lecture class, so bring your notebook and a pattern you've always wanted to make. The instructor may take individual questions on specific patterns if time allows.
