Beginning Free Motion Quilting - Techniques

This class will teach you all the steps necessary to successfully quilt on your home sewing machine. We will cover both straight line and free motion quilting. Students will be practicing techniques on muslin and batting samples. An actual quilt will not be made in this class.
Sabine has done some form of needlework for most of her life. After discovering quilting, it became her main interest, and she has been quilting now for 30 plus years.
From the very beginning she has designed her own quilts (background in engineering). After hand quilting her first project, she quickly transitioned to machine quilting. She proudly admits that she has quilted all her quilts herself on a domestic sewing machine.
She has worked at 2 local quilt shops, Co- founded the Smoky Hill quilt Club in 2002, started her own pattern company in 2013 and has taugh quilting classes for many years.
